I have finally submitted my resignation.
I was excited at the beginning. And a bit guilty for letting my boss down.
But overall I was happy.
I thought too much before. My colleagues actually did not react too much and the conversation cooled down quickly when they learnt I was going to Mongolia and other countries for 6 months alone. What they thought of were I am rich and lucky and had no idea what its like meeting people on the road…
On the other hand I was quite surprised that my functional manager understood my situation so well and agreed that it was a good time to do such thing if it is on my ‘agenda’.
